Privacy Policy for Ale’s Table

Last Updated: August 22, 2026

Welcome to Ale’s Table. I respect your privacy and want to be clear about what information I collect, why I collect it, and how it is used.

This Privacy Policy applies to https://alestable.com and explains how Ale’s Table (“I,” “me,” “my,” or “Ale’s Table”) handles personal information when you visit the website or subscribe to my newsletter.

Information I Collect

Ale’s Table is designed to collect as little personal information as possible.

Newsletter Information

If you choose to subscribe to the Ale’s Table newsletter, I collect:

  • Your first name
  • Your email address

You provide this information voluntarily when you subscribe.

You do not need to create an account to browse Ale’s Table, read recipes, view photographs, or use the publicly available content on the website.

I do not intentionally collect:

  • Phone numbers
  • Mailing addresses
  • Payment information
  • Government identification
  • Sensitive personal information

Please do not submit sensitive personal information through the website or newsletter forms.

How I Use Your Information

If you subscribe to the Ale’s Table newsletter, I use your first name and email address to:

  • Send you the Ale’s Table newsletter
  • Share new recipes, cooking tips, techniques, and meal ideas
  • Share stories, thoughts, lessons, and occasional updates from my kitchen and life
  • Send announcements about projects, events, or other Ale’s Table activities
  • Occasionally share something I genuinely recommend

I aim to send approximately 2–4 emails per month. I would rather send fewer emails that are actually worth opening than fill your inbox.

I do not sell your personal information.

I do not currently use your information for targeted advertising.

Newsletter Service — Kit

Ale’s Table uses Kit as its email newsletter service provider.

When you subscribe to my newsletter, your first name and email address are processed by Kit so that I can manage my subscriber list and send you emails.

Kit processes subscriber information on behalf of creators under its Data Processing Addendum. You can learn more about how Kit handles subscriber information in its privacy documentation.

Kit automatically includes an unsubscribe option in emails, allowing you to stop receiving the newsletter at any time.

You can also contact me at hello@alestable.com if you would like help with your subscription or personal information.

Cookies and Technical Information

Ale’s Table does not currently use advertising networks, Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or similar advertising and analytics services.

Like most websites, the website and its underlying services may use certain technical cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for the website or integrated services to function properly.

For example, third-party services such as Kit may use technologies associated with newsletter forms and subscriber attribution.

I do not currently use cookies to serve targeted advertising on Ale’s Table.

As the website changes and new services are added, this policy will be updated to reflect those changes.

How Long I Keep Your Information

If you subscribe to the Ale’s Table newsletter, your information is retained while you remain subscribed.

If you unsubscribe, your information may be removed or retained by the newsletter service as necessary to maintain unsubscribe records, prevent unwanted re-subscription, comply with legal obligations, or otherwise operate the service.

You may contact me at any time if you would like to ask about the information associated with your subscription.

Sharing Your Information

I do not sell or rent your personal information.

Your newsletter information is shared with Kit because Kit provides the email delivery and subscriber-management services necessary to operate the Ale’s Table newsletter.

I may also disclose information when required to do so by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Ale’s Table, its visitors, or others.

Ale’s Table currently does not use:

  • Advertising networks
  • Affiliate tracking platforms
  • Payment processors
  • Social login services
  • Facebook Pixel
  • Google Analytics
  • Third-party advertising pixels

If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated.
